Yes, the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival is all about connections. Who did you meet? Who do you know? This is all great, but a bit better than that? Playing with your own new Kinect. If you haven’t heard of the Xbox Kinect at this point, you must be living on a desert island. This thing has totally changed the way people can play games and interact with technology. It’s one of the hottest game-lover’s items on the market, and we’re so thrilled to be toting some Kinects (courtesy of Microsoft) down to Austin for SXSW to give away. Yes, for free — pausing while you salivate — to the first folks that run up to us after they receive a Reward Alert though Loopt. “How do I make sure I get this,” you ask?

Well, here’s how:

1. Download Loopt for your iPhone or Android device
2. Check in anywhere in Austin during SXSW, so we know you’re there.
3. Keep Reward Alerts “on” (you can adjust this in Loopt Settings > Notifications).
